The CATLA Spring Conference will take place at the James White Library at Andrews University on Friday, April 15th, 2011. The theme for the day will be "Taking the Pulse: Implications for Libraries." Our morning speaker will be Eric Lease Morgan, Digital Projects Librarian at the Hesburgh Libraries at the University of Notre Dame.

The afternoon session will be a lightening round, which consists of brief presentations a few minutes in length. CATLA members are invited to start thinking about projects they are working on in their own libraries, and how they might share briefly on how they are meeting current challenges. More information on participating in the lightning round will be posted soon, as well as a detailed schedule for the day.

Planning for the ATLA 2011 Conference is proceeding, and there is now a Facebook event page. You can also sign up to follow ATLA Local Host 2011 on Twitter. In addition, the 2011 Conference page has been recently updated with a link to the conference hotel and room reservations.
